TAXONOMIC VALUE OF LEAF ANATOMY IN IRANIAN FINE-LEAVED FESTUCA

Abstract

Festuca L. comprises perennial herbs and about 450 species. It belongs to the tribe Poeae R. Br. (= Festucaceae Dumort), subfamily Pooideae of Poaceae. These species are different in leaf size, life duration and lamina width. The genus is divided into two groups based on lamina width: fine-leaved and broad-leaved. In this study, leaf anatomy of F. akhanii, F. elwendiana,F. heterophylla, F. sulcata and F. valesiaca belonging to the fine-leaved group are investigated.

Abstract [Persian]

جنسFestucaگیاهی علفی‏،پایا، دارای ریشه­های عمیق با بیش از 450 گونه گیاهی متعلق به تیره Poaceae می‌باشد. گونه­های این جنس از لحاظ ارتفاع، طول عمر و پهنای برگ با یکدیگر تفاوت دارند. براساس اندازه برگ به دو گروه ریزبرگ (fine-leaved) وپهن­برگ (broad-leaved)  تقسیم می­شوند.طی این تحقیق، آناتومی برگ در پنج گونه از جنسFestuca L.  به اسامی:F. valesiaca ،F. sulcata،F. akhanii،F. heterophyllaوF. elwendianaاز گروه ریزبرگان به منظور معرفی صفات مهم تشریحی وامکان کاربرد تاکسونومیکی آن­ها مورد بررسی قرارگرفت.
